Smart Growth Box

Objective of project

1. Study how to use the Raspberry Pi for temperature sensor, air humidity, soil moisture, distance sensor, ph sensor, relay and touch LCD operation. 
2. Develop apps for the touch screen using QT Software. 
3. Learn how to use laser cutting machine for creating Smart Growth Box. 
4. Study how to grow plants using LED lighting. 
5. Bring knowledge to create Smart Grow Box that can use data from various sensors.

Currently, some plants require special care. With the environment That is changing and difficult to control, such as humidity in the air. Soil moisture, pollution, plant diseases and insects And most importantly, most people do not have enough time to look after the trees.
     To solve these problems The development team therefore has the idea to create a Smart Growth Box for various tree care. To be easier and more convenient.
     The Smart Growth Box is built from an acrylic cabinet and uses a Raspberry Pi as a touch screen controller. And the screen can show the temperature, air humidity, soil moisture, and water pH values.    
     There is also an automatic tree care system. According to the conditions set by the user The user can set the temperature, air humidity, soil moisture, and water pH as conditions for Turn on the ventilation fan, reduce or increase the temperature inside the cabinet, watering amount And the distance of the LED lights from the height of the tree.
