IoT System for Visualization of Seismic Damage

Objective of project

- Earthquakes are our global problem. Especially, earthquakes had brought a lot of damages in Japan. Also, in Kumamoto, we had two big earthquakes in 2016 and aftershocks are continuing even now. They caused great damages. Many people injured and knew the fear of earthquakes. That is the reason that we wanted to research our project which can help people when earthquakes happen.

-We have to save people from natural disasters such as earthquakes because we have good technology.
When earthquakes happen, we can know how dangerous the earthquakes are for each area through media such as TV and radio. However, we have to watch and check the damage state because it is different from building to building. Actually, we cannot know the damage of each building because it is different even if seismic intensity is the same. We need to make a device which can visualize the damages of each building to save people.
