Dagik Earth

Objective of project

Dajik Earth is a project to enjoy science about the Earth and planets in different places.
We're doing a lot of different activities to let people know and use this.

Dagik Earth is an educational project to enjoy the scientific outputs on the earth and planets with three-dimensional digital globe in classrooms, science centers and home, led by Dr. A. Saito.  It is by the visualization group of the Earth science hub of Kyoto University.  
In our school, we display Dagik Earth at the school festivals and use it in science classes.  In the school festival last year, we had visitors operate it, connecting various devices such as a trackball, a joystick, a controller, a balance board and so on, so that visitors could enjoy more than looking at the screen.  We are also creating an original content for projection on a screen and making a simple manual in order that everyone can use it.
