IoTea ~Japanese Green Tea with LPWA and IoT solution~

Objective of project

Temperature, Humidity, pH sensor and others were connected to the one board chip microcomputer “Arduino”. The data was collected to the crowd server through Low Power Wide Area(LPWA) network. LPWA enable to cover several kilo meters from the a base station. The power source of the system can be charged by solar power thanks to LPWA’s characteristic to save the operating electrical power. 
Goal of the project is to help tea farmer. Our system can produce collected  information on the field, analytical result of the data, advice the what is necessary for farmer to treat. We believe this system works and are looking for drinking delicious tea make by this project.

In Aichi Prefecture, production of "Tencha", which is the raw material for a kind of green tea "Matcha", is being carried out actively in the Nishimikawa area such as Toyota City and Nishio City.
We made a system to manage the growth to Green Tea to helps tea farmer to check the condition of green tea leaf. In addition improvement of the quality of the leaf is expected by controlling the parameter obtained from our system.
