Smart Window for Ventilation

Objective of project

In order to reduce manual tasks of ventilation, we develop a smart window. Our smart window allows the machine to open windows, then we can forget to open windows.

 We develop a technology that automatically opens windows. In our college, there is a rule to ventilate during lunch break. However, as the day goes by, the habit of opening windows is gone. Our technology allows the machine to open windows, then we can forget to open windows.
 Our technology allows humans to command the opening and closing of windows by voice. The machine receiving the command can automatically execute the command and open the window with the appropriate width.
 We implemented the above technology using a microcontroller, a rotary encoder, and an ultrasonic sensor. We will discuss details in the paper.
