Use of the Heat of Solidification by Arduino

Objective of project

In order to heat the water using the heat fusion, we made a device that sends vibrations to some containers to release the energy trapped in the supercooled sodium acetate trihydrate.

In recent years, heat storage devices that are environmentally friendly and have excellent durability have been attracting attention in various regions of the world. Examples would include EcoCute and heat pumps. However, it is also true that they have their own problems such as large storage tanks and extensive insulation. We wanted to improve heat storage from a chemical point of view.
Do you know the phenomenon of supercooling?
Supercooling is when a liquid is cooled below its freezing point but does not become solid. Instead, it stays in a stable state and retains its heat of fusion.
We used sodium acetate trihydrate (SAT) which after boiling and then allowed to cool becomes supersaturated.
From this, we would like to use the trapped energy to better develop heat storage technology. Using this method we created a device to warm water utilizing the trapped thermal energy.
